Just a small sampling of the magnificent ceramic collection at the Victoria & Albert Museum in Kensington. Amazingly the first museum that I wanted to see is only a 5 minute walk from where I'm staying. Each of 6 rooms is 100 feet long, with 4 rows of glass shelving each about about 8 feet tall. Needless to say the collection is very extensive from all periods and all parts of the world.

ReplyDeleteP.S. I remember the vastness of the Victoria and Albert Museum, I also remember the wonderful original cartoon by Raphael, which unfortunately could not be photographed.
Can't wait to hear more about the Victoria and Albert. Your photo was at an interesting angle and I was able to take in much more in one image than I though possible.
